Honor the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country at Powell’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Brick Dedication at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial.
The ceremony will include the addition of new bricks recognizing local veterans for their service and a speech by Maj. Gen. (U.S. Army, retired) John C. Harris Jr.
9 a.m.: The public is welcome to join the Powell Veterans Committee at the Powell Cemetery to place new American flags at Veteran gravesites in honor of Veterans Day.
Noon: A luncheon for veterans and their families will follow the ceremony.
