Legal Public Notices

The City of Powell strives to meet all requirements regarding public notice. According to City Charter, all public meetings are posted on the City Web site and at the Village Green Municipal Building by 5 p.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting. Emergency meetings are posted no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting time.

Resolution 2025-45 -Temporary Moratorium on Community Reinvestment (CRA) Tax Abatements for New Residential Construction

Notice is hereby given that the Powell City Council has enacted RESOLUTION 2025-45(PDF, 468KB), effective November 18, 2025, imposing a temporary moratorium on the receipt, submission, or acceptance of all applications for Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) tax abatements related to new residential construction within the City of Powell.

This temporary moratorium shall remain in effect until December 20, 2025, unless otherwise amended or repealed by Council.
