COhatch officially opened its new campus at 50 and 60 E. Olentangy St. in Downtown Powell.

The new 14,000-square-foot development introduces a mix of private offices, coworking space and meeting rooms to the heart of the city’s walkable downtown core. The campus also includes the restored Middlebury Member House, designed as a luxury lodge-style space for members to work, meet and host private events. The Lani Rooftop Lounge, an indoor and outdoor rooftop cocktail venue, is expected to open later this month, with the Middlebury Member House welcoming members in May.

COhatch Powell represents a significant investment in Powell’s broader redevelopment, restoration and revitalization strategy. The project blends modern workspace amenities with historic preservation, reinforcing the city’s commitment to creating a vibrant, economically resilient downtown.

“COhatch has been instrumental in bringing new energy and renewed purpose to Powell’s downtown core,” said Powell City Manager Andrew White. “The City is excited about the positive energy COhatch’s new campus is bringing as we work together to attract businesses and residents, support economic vitality and foster meaningful connections. These community initiatives would not have been possible without COhatch.”

In addition to coworking and event space, the campus will serve as a destination for community gatherings, weddings, corporate events and workshops. COhatch Powell offers members 24/7 access, high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee and tea, printing services and mailbox options. Members also gain access to COhatch’s broader network of locations and resources.

The private investment in this campus and the jobs created through employment at the new facility have played a critical role in advancing downtown improvements. Planned public projects, including the extension of Scioto Street and the addition of new public parking, would not have been possible without the partnership, investment and long-term commitment demonstrated through this development.

COhatch also brings philanthropic initiatives to Powell through its GIVE Scholarship program, which provides support to nonprofit organizations, and its Boost Scholarship program, designed to help startups grow by offering access to coworking space and entrepreneurial resources.

The opening of COhatch Powell represents another step forward in strengthening downtown as a place where residents, entrepreneurs and visitors can connect, collaborate and thrive.
