History of Village Green
The Village Green property, located at 47 Hall Street, has evolved alongside Powell for nearly 30 years.
Before the City purchased the property in 1996, the site was home to a truss company that manufactured structural components. Since then, it has transformed into a central gathering place for the community with additions including the amphitheater, playground, splash pad and Veterans Memorial.
As Powell has grown from a population of about 4,000 residents to more than 15,000, Village Green has remained at the heart of the community.
