Partnership Brings Sidewalk & Parking Enhancements to Downtown
Partnership Brings Sidewalk & Parking Enhancements to Downtown
Published on September 18, 2025
Sidewalk and parking improvements are underway in Downtown Powell.
A
new public sidewalk is being installed on Olentangy Street in front of COhatch as part of a public infrastructure investment in Downtown Powell. The project will also include new on-street public parking to better serve the downtown area.
Construction is in progress and involves completing several utility upgrades before the sidewalk is finished. The sidewalk is not accessible at this time, but it will be open in the next few weeks once work is complete.
This project is a public infrastructure investment made possible by COhatch. Partnerships like this support new businesses while also creating lasting benefits for the entire community.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our downtown.
