The Powell Finance Committee will review a proposed $61 million, five-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) budget during its meeting Tuesday, Aug. 11.

The plan outlines investments in city infrastructure, facilities and other long-term projects. If approved by the committee, the proposal will advance to Powell City Council for a final vote.

City officials say the CIP serves as a roadmap for major expenditures over the next half-decade, helping prioritize needs while balancing fiscal responsibility.

The Finance Committee’s review is the next step in a process that will ultimately determine funding for projects aimed at maintaining and improving the city’s quality of life. Once funding is finalized, the City will share details highlighting the projects selected for investment.
