About the Commission
The Historic Downtown Advisory Commission (HDAC) was established to review proposals involving environmental changes in the Downtown District. These applications are known as Certificates of Appropriateness and it's HDAC's responsibility to ensure that changes proposed to buildings or structures in the district align with the City's architectural design guidelines. HDAC meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
