Citizens Police Academy

The Powell Police Department hosts an annual Citizens Police Academy each fall. Participants gain insight on crime prevention and will receive an inside look at the Powell Police Department. The 11-week session typically starts in August of each year and takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.

Traffic Stops and OVI Enforcement
