Sgt. Matt Cook and Sgt. Ryan Pentz recently completed the three-week Supervisor Training and Education Program (STEP), an intensive course focused on performance management, emotional intelligence, critical-incident response, and developing effective teams.
Their completion of this program marks an important step as they move into first line supervisor roles. The training equips them with practical tools for guiding officers, managing high-pressure situations, and strengthening day-to-day operations within the department.
Congratulations to both sergeants on this achievement. The skills they’ve gained will support their continued growth as leaders within the Powell Police Department.
