Members of the City of Powell’s Public Service Department recently participated in a winter weather training led by Diana Clonch, LLC. The hands-on session covered everything from safe plow operation and route planning to salt management, storm preparation, and effective communication during snow events. The goal is to ensure staff are fully prepared to respond quickly and safely when winter weather hits.
Employees from both Powell and Liberty Township participated in the training, which was organized by Charles Dukes, Powell’s new Director of Public Service. The session helped strengthen collaboration between the two communities to ensure safe, effective snow and ice response throughout the season.
